Detailed Job Description: Sales Manager
Summary of duties:
Prepare sales objectives in line with the company’s growth plan focusing on online sales;
Identify strategies for delivering on the sales objectives including identifying target markets and channels for delivery;
Develop and act as the lead on sales and marketing campaigns and promotional activities;
Prepare sales forecast (quarterly and yearly) updated as appropriate;
Work with senior management to leverage existing (off-line) client’s and networks;
Undertake appropriate after sales initiatives;
Attending trade and technology fairs to learn and disseminate the latest sales and technology tools to the company;
Ensure adherence to compliance and sales protocols;
Work with senior staff to identify new business opportunities and maintenance of sales pipelines within the operating unit;
Overseas the expansion of the (online) sales function including assisting with the recruitment, management and training of junior sales staff (as the team expands)
Track record of direct or online sales experience (preferably 5 years);
Degree in related subject;
Sales account handling experience;
Demonstrable experience of pitching to/working with senior decision makers within client organisations;
Proven ability to manage and motivate sales team;
Problem solving and analytical skills to manage customer queries;
Ability to use latest technological sales apps and software;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Good knowledge of Microsoft packages;
Salary: £25,000-£32,000 (Depending on experience)
